Walk n' Talk

Looking for a chance to meet some people and get more active? This is it. Starting on January 3, 2012,  our group will meet Tuesday mornings from 9:30-11am at the Gale Centre to get a little exercise, talk about health-related issues and have a snack. We walk around the twin pad on the second level. The building is full accessible. We are always looking for new participants. Please call Laura for details!

 Take Charge!

Open to individuals living with chronic illness (such as asthma, pain and depression) and/or their caregivers. Groups meet once a week and talk about healthy living, communication and problem solving. This is modelled from Stanford University's Chronic Disease Self-Management program. Participants receive Lococo's food vouchers, weekly snacks and a certificate for program completion! Registration is required. Please call Charlene for more details!

 I.D. Clinic

Lost your Birth Certificate, Health Card or Social Insurance Nurmber? Our outreach worker is here to help you get it back. Clinics run every Tuesday from 3:30 - 6:30 p.m. at the Niagara Falls Community Health Centre. We fill out applications for new birthcertificates and direct you with replacing other forms of identification.

Please note: We are not able to ISSUE new health cards. This must be done at a Service Ontario Location.

Eat Right Keep Fit

Are you interested in learning about healthy eating? Are you interested in trying new forms of easy exercise? This may be the program for you. Beginning on February 1st this group will meet once a week at Lundy's Lane United Church from 4:30-6:30. Please call April or Laura at (905)356-4222 to register today!
