Ribbon Cutting Ceremony/Grand Opening March 16, 2010
Opened to the public February 8, 2010
Second AGM on June 10ths, 2009 attended by over 30 members.
In Search for the location of the permanent site. (Summer 2009)
Signed lease agreement for the interim site (due to move in August 2009)
First AGM on October 9,2008 attended by over 30 members.
Final Community Engagement Report submitted and approved by HNHB LHIN June, 2008
Community Forum successfully completed April 17, 2008
Final funds for CE deposited, as well as Pre-operational funds for 2008-2009, to Meridian account by MoH
Interim CE Report submitted to LHIN February, 2008
Signed contract with MH
Established Office on Queen St.; and Community Liaison Co-ordinator contracted January, 2008
Request for Proposals in Fall 2007 resulted in contracting AOHC as consultant for Community Engagement process.
Established governance model with constitution and by-laws October, 2007
Business account establishes at Meridian CU; and CE funds deposited September of 2007 from MH
Meet with Planning and CE staff from LHIN August 9, 2007 for feedback from NFCHC's CE Proposal
Funding announcement April 13,2007 at Niagara Falls Public Library with MPP Kim Craitor
Incorporated as a not for profit in province of Ontario April 12, 2007
The Steering Committee (SC) was named in Feb of 2007. This group was brought together by the Association of Ontario Health Centres (AOHC), which was contracted by the MoH
In 2005, the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care (MOHLTC) announced the opening of the Niagara Falls Community Health Centre (CHC) by April of 2009.
